Welcome!

Hi, I’m Andrea

Fitness Trainer & Nutrition coach

The most common question in 15+ years of personal training is “What Should I Eat?”. Taking control of what you eat and how you move will improve how you feel, how much energy you have and the overall health of your body. With so much conflicting information, it makes perfect sense why it is the number 1 question. While I am not here to tell you what not to eat, I do want to provide and easy way to help you eat what you like and know that you are helping your body along the way. Start Here

Healthy shouldn’t mean bland. I’m passionate about creating flavorful, nutritious recipes that make wholesome living easy & enjoyable.

Behind the blog

How it all started

Years ago I started taking college courses in fitness because it was a subject I knew nothing about at the time. I was working at a locally famous restaurant and wanted to go to culinary school. I wasn’t athletic at the time and never did sports but I wanted to be fit and healthy. While working on my Associates degree I took a few fitness classes and loved it. I picked a major and started working for the best personal training studios around. I wanted to be THE best. I was a geek like that. Fast forward a few years and my love for People, Food and Health became a big part of who I am. I am a Personal Trainer and have been for years. I received a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science with a Minor in Nutrition. I focused on Physiology.

I left the fast paced personal training studios once I had kids, hanging on to a few of my favorites. I have been blessed in my career to have worked with local and national celebrities, athletes, coaches and mentored under Danette May. While all of that was fun, my passion is with real people living lives in the unfiltered world.

I am passionate about creating recipes and workouts that will nourish your body now, and for years to come. Yes we want our bodies to look good, but we need our bodies to feel good. We need our bodies to move, uninjured from trying wild workouts and crazy diets. While looking good for a photo in 2-3 months is a great goal.. it’s the heart of that is what matters. That is what we I am here to help you with. It’s not about the photo, its about how you feel in your skin. Are your joints all working properly. Do you have full range of motion. Can you perform ALL the activities you want, and will you be able to do it for the next 30-70 years. Thats why I’m here. Why are you here? What are your goals? How can I help you? email me. I love love love meeting new people and would love to get to know you.

FAQ

Yes. Each recipe is portioned, balanced, macro-friendly and must pass the taste test. Too many fitness meals are bland, boring, and not worth the effort and I am trying to change that. In order for our weight loss, weight gain or weight maintenance to be sustainable, we must enjoy it. I’m hopeful that as you begin preparing these meals with consistency, you will quickly learn portion sizes without any additional effort and can easily tweak your own family favorite recipes as well as gain a few new ones.

My iphone. Phones are amazing. Just like my meals, I don’t think anything needs to be over the top to achieve the goals we want.

I actually started a blog years ago, back in 2017. I was not consistent with it (I had just had my 2nd child). Now that my children are a bit more self sufficent, I realized I could do more and do better. So I swithched gear and wanted to create something that would truly be a help for not just my clients but anyone looking to improve their body through nourishing food and workouts built for logevity. I would love to be a person who lives a quality life into my 100’s and know many of my clients feel the same. My oldest client as of 2024 is about to turn 96 and we have worked together for almost 20 years.

I am. My style of training is really to teach you how to do what you need to for your body, without me forever. There are those few who prefer to have me there to plan the workout and make sure that it gets done. Those long term client spots are pretty limited as many of us have been together for years.

First off, thank you.

If you are interested in working with me personally, please send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I value your time and wouldn’t want to waste it.. so.. in this email please include what you hope to accomplish (short/long-term goals), including any goals or limitations/injuries I should be aware of and 3-4 best days/times you are available to talk.
