Blended Cottage Cheese Ranch Dressing with Real Mayo
Ingredients:
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, blended smooth (8 oz)
- 1/4 cup tbsp real mayonnaise (watch ingredients and avoid soybean and canola oil if able, homemade is healthier)
- 4 – 6 tbsp dry ranch seasoning powder
- *Splash of Buttermilk, or Keifer or milk of choice (optional, for thinning)
- *optional salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Blend the Cottage Cheese: The simplest method, is using an immersion blender right in the container it comes in. Other methods: using a blender or food processor, blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the Seasonings: Add the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to the blender. Blend again until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Adjust Consistency: If you want the dressing thinner, add a little more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your preferred consistency.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary (add more salt, pepper, vinegar, or dill to your liking).
- Serve: Pair with fresh veggies like carrot sticks, celery, cucumber, or bell pepper slices. You can also use this as a chip dip or salad dressing.
